210 Yen Flat Fare on the Subway

Setting a low inner city subway fare makes it more convenient to move around the city center where the Tozai and Namboku Lines intersect.
Within an area three stations surrounding Sendai Station, a flat fare of 210 yen is set no matter which stops you use.

100 Yen Flat Fare on Buses around Tozai Line Stations

Three stations on the Tozai Line, (Yagiyama Zoological Park, Yakushido and Arai) have their own special area where the bus fare is a flat fare of 100 yen no matter which stops you use.

120 Yen “Pakku” Zone

The 120 Yen Pakku Zone is an initiative aimed at creating convenient public transportation for everyone by adopting flat 120 yen fares and making it easier to use in the designated city center zone.
The City of Sendai Transportation Bureau worked in cooperation with Miyagi Transportation Co., Ltd to create this 120 Yen "Pakku" Zone initiative.
